Acer gives live product demos for business passengers at London Heathrow T5’s BA Club Lounge

Electronics manufacturer Acer and its UK experiential agency Agent42 teamed up with Blackjack Promotions last month for an experiential campaign inviting passengers at London Heathrow’s T5 BA Club Lounge to try out the latest range of Acer & Microsoft touch type devices.

Between June 17 and July 11, Blackjack provided four brand ambassadors per day to engage with passengers from a branded stand on a range of Acer products through live product demos. The staff, which were fully trained on Acer products and all had a strong background in technology, were also on hand to provide more information in an effort to drive sales online.

The stand, managed by Agent42, also featured a British Airways host to help engage passengers by offering a range of VIP treatment including drinks and snacks.

Blackjack Promotions’ Account Manager Natalie Brown says: “We were delighted to have been chosen to provide the staff to engage with business travellers at BA’s Club South Lounge. All of the staff brought a strong background in technology and the relevant know-how to inform passengers on Acer’s range of products. This was just another example of the broad range of expertise Blackjack has to offer.”

In total over the four week period, more than 700 passengers in the lounge visited the stand, with almost 600 quality interactions taking place. Of these, more than 350 explored the products in more detail.
