To raise awareness of the new Girl Meets World TV show on The Disney Channel we produced and toured a branded karaoke booth to shopping centres across the UK in partnership with Talon and OMD.
The aim of the activity was to create a fun and engaging experience that would raise awareness of the new show, and also to create content that could be used to produce a music video for the Girl Meets World theme song and subsequently be shown on The Disney Channel. At the end of the karaoke element consumers we given a branded photo to take home as a reminder of their Disney experience.
We provided an experienced event manager to tour all locations with the support of 5 local brand ambassadors.
Blackjack provided all planning, site negotiating, production, logistics and staffing.
Results: Over seven live days in Sept/Oct 2014, 905 families and tweens took part and 736 videos made (exceeding the target by 112%).
