Premium vodka brand Stolichnaya has successfully released its limited edition bottles at Gatwick and Heathrow airports, with the help of Blackjack Promotions.

The artwork for the bottles was designed by internationally acclaimed Russian artist, Yuri Gorbachev,. Gorbachev, whose work is represented at the Louvre and the White House, said of the design “[it] incorporates the four elements – earth, air, water and fire – that join together to make Stoli one of the world’s most distinctive vodkas. Earth and water feed the grain, which gains strength from the clean air, while fire represents the passionate spirit of Stoli.”

The activity was staged in two parts, with the first campaign drive held at Heathrow T5 from 6 June until 20 July, and the second part at Gatwick airport from 27 July until 23 August. Four specially trained Blackjack mixologists were on hand each day to provide passengers with the new and exciting samples. The T5 activity was primarily focused on promoting elit by Stolichnaya, the “ultra-luxury vodka“, that was offered as a sample with two varieties of cocktail: On the Rocks and Classic Martini. The T5 bar was also promoting sales of Stolichnaya Premium Vodka and the Stolichnaya Limited Edition.

Passengers at Gatwick Airport were offered the chance to sample the vodka in a variety of Stoli cocktails, they were able to choose between four drinks: Earth, a vodka, green tea and ginger ale mix; Water, which included Curacao , vodka and lemonade; Fire, a tomato and vodka-based drink; and Air, a honey and lemon vodka drink. At the stand, passengers were also able to purchase the limited edition Stoli vodka.

Vicki Gilmour from Blackjack commented: “This has been a great brand awareness campaign for Stolichnaya, our staff commented on receiving great feedback from the many passengers who sampled the cocktails, and if this wasn’t proof enough the Stolichnaya limited edition bottles sold above target for the first month.”
